Seminar on Advance Medical Directives: Best Practice Guidelines on Advance Medical Directives

The Task Force on Advance Medical Directives under the Academy's Professionalism and Ethics Committee and the Academy’s Jockey Club Institute for Medical Education and Development will jointly organise a half-day seminar on Advance Medical Directives on the morning of 26 April 2025 (Saturday).

The seminar will focus on the “Best Practice Guidelines on Advance Medical Directives (AMD)” to be published by the Academy in March / April 2025, which aims to better equip Academy Fellows and other healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to navigate relevant issues arising from the Advance Decision on Life-sustaining Treatment Ordinance gazetted in November 2024, before it comes into effect in May 2026.
