Effective from 1 November, 2024, the Hong Kong Jockey Club Innovative Learning Centre for Medicine (HKJC ILCM) has evolved into the Jockey Club Institute for Medical Education and Development (JCIMED). This newly established institute now serves as the operational hub for educational programmes and activities of the Academy. Originally founded in 2013 with generous backing from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, HKJC ILCM was conceived to address the escalating demand for advanced medical education facilities in Hong Kong. It was designed to offer a cutting-edge learning environment for healthcare professionals, integrating state-of-the-art simulation technology and innovative teaching methods.
