Established by the State Council of the People's Republic of China in 2018, this meaningful day honours the unwavering commitment and compassion of medical practitioners who dedicate themselves to protecting public health.

Beyond expressing gratitude, the occasion serves to:

• Foster stronger doctor-patient relationships through public education,
