Now Open for Applications by Private Healthcare Providers (HCPs) of Western Medicine

Health Bureau is pleased to announce that the eHealth+ Connectivity Support Scheme is now open for applications. The application deadline is 31 March 2026.

Under the Support Scheme, the Government will provide dedicated technical support and sponsorship to private HCPs of western medicine, encouraging them to adopt accredited electronic medical record systems (https://www.ehealth.gov.hk/rl/ehealth-plus-accredited-emrs) that are connected to eHealth for depositing electronic health records (eHRs) of patients with authorisation.

Benefits of connecting with eHealth:
Healthcare Providers

  • Access patients' health records with authorisation, enhancing clinical efficiency and service quality.
  • Facilitate participation in Public-Private Partnership programmes and deposit of relevant medical records into eHealth, fostering cross-sectoral and multi-disciplinary healthcare collaboration.

Patients

  • Build lifelong and comprehensive eHRs to support management of personal health and healthcare services.
  • Enable formulation of personalised treatment plans by HCPs, enabling more accurate diagnoses and reduce care costs.
