The Academy’s Jockey Club Institute for Medical Education and Development (JCIMED), in collaboration with the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care, Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (AIC CUHK), is pleased to announce the upcoming Organ Donation Training Course, scheduled in November 2026. This programme aims to enhance participants’ understanding of organ donation, equip healthcare professionals with communication and ethical skills, provide practical training in donor identification and management, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and support sustainable organ donation programmes.

Details are as follows:

  • Tier two course (practical) - 3 Nov 2026 (Whole day, 09:00-17:00)
    • For doctors only, especially from internal Medicine (Cardiology, Respiratory Medicine, Neurology), Intensive Care Medicine, Neurosurgery, with possible inclusion of A&E and Pediatrics
  • Tier one course (Awareness) - 4 Nov 2026 (half-day, 09:00-13:00 and /or 14:00-18:00)
    • For Doctors, Nurses and Allied Health Professionals (All Specialties)

Please complete the application form and submit it along with the cheque by post to our office address (JCIMED, 7/F, HKAM Jockey Club Building, 99 Wong Chuk Hang Road, Aberdeen, Hong Kong) on or before 3 Oct 2026. Applications will be accepted based on the postmark date.

  • Tier two course (Practical): HK$1,400 per person
  • Tier one course (Awareness): HK$600 per person

The fee paid will be refunded to those who successfully complete the training.
