
We are pleased to announce the upcoming Genetics & Genomics Conference, scheduled for 16 November 2025 (Sunday). This will be an in-person event held in Hong Kong. The event is jointly organized by the Task Force on Genetics and Genomics under the Academy's Professionalism and Ethics Committee, the Academy's Jockey Club Institute for Medical Education and Development, and the Hong Kong Genome Institute. Registration fee is waived, with funding support from The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.
We have curated an exceptional lineup of renowned speakers and distinguished guests from University of Ottawa and McGill University from Canada, PHG Foundation (a non-profit think tank and part of the University of Cambridge, UK), local universities and esteemed local experts. The conference offers a compelling journey through the evolving field of genomic medicine, highlighting breakthroughs in cancer genetics, ethical challenges in clinical decision-making, and the growing role of genetics in everyday medical practice.
